500-year-old Thozhuvancode Sree Chamundi Devi Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, managed by the family of the "Kalari guru" of the erstwhile Ettuveettil Tharavaad,is a rising centre of pilgrimage in Trivandrum.This is a very beautiful temple with unique sculptures which one can find no where else.

The main diety is Chamundeswari devi.The other dieties worshipped here are Mohini yakshi,Durga Devi,Karinkali Devi,Hanuman,Ganapathy,Thamburan,Anantha and navagraha.

How to reach the temple...?
Thozhuvancode Devi Temple lies midway between Vattiyoorkavu and Kanjirampara and is around 3 km from Sasthamangalam and 9 km from East Fort


Temple is open only on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 7:45 pm .



The unique feature of this temple that sets it apart from others is that no money is collected for the festival, and the poojarins do not accept dakshina. This temple is open to all, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, whatever may be your religion you are welcome
